Cashier

Responsibilities:

  • Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the checkout area.
  • Ensure pricing accuracy by verifying product prices and discounts.
  • Handle returns and exchanges following company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer interactions.
  • Stay informed about current promotions, sales, and store policies.
  • Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as required.

Requirements:

  • Indian or Filipino nationality, with female candidates preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cashier or in a similar role in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a positive demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
  • Familiarity with ERP & POS systems and basic computer proficiency.
  • Knowledge of retail sales principles and practices.
  • Effective multitasking and prioritization abilities.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
